SMS Responder connects an inbound text keyword with a tracked Campaign link. It is useful when a person hears or sees marketing where typing a web address is impractical.

Where to find it

Open the request page in the Editor, then open SMS Responder.

Before you configure it

Create the Campaign you want the text response to use. SMS Responder sends a Campaign's tracked URL.

Create a responder

Enter the phone number, keyword, Campaign and reply message. The outgoing message includes the Campaign link.

Messaging-provider setup

The phone number and carrier registration are handled through your messaging provider. Vrtual.ly handles the keyword-to-Campaign response after the inbound message reaches the configured webhook.
